AiDEN Automotive and Mavi Aim to Make In-Car Shopping a Reality

AiDEN Automotive and Mavi have announced a strategic partnership to integrate advanced shopping capabilities into connected vehicles, targeting a rapidly expanding automotive e-commerce market projected to reach $343.13 billion by 2032, according to Fortune Business Insights.

The collaboration, announced January 7, 2025, combines AiDEN’s privacy-first connected vehicle technology with Mavi’s OnMyWay Commerce platform to enable seamless food, beverage, and essential item purchases directly through vehicle interfaces. The market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 16.6% from its current $100.14 billion value.

“Integrating eCommerce into the connected car experience is the next frontier,” said Niclas Gyllenram, CEO and Co-founder of AiDEN Automotive, emphasizing the partnership’s role in setting “a new standard for convenience and innovation in the automotive industry.”

The integration addresses several key market demands:

  • Seamless shopping experience across different vehicle brands
  • Privacy-compliant technology adhering to GDPR and CCPA standards
  • Simplified curbside pickup coordination
  • Curated retailer and service provider selections

Cynthia Hollen, CEO of Mavi.io, highlighted the partnership’s potential to expand market reach: “With AiDEN’s cutting-edge connected car solutions, we can bring our robust eCommerce platform to a broader audience, making in-car shopping more intuitive, efficient, and enjoyable than ever.”

The system features dashboard-integrated point of sale, automated payment processing, real-time order tracking, customized retail recommendations, and secure consent management.

The collaboration represents a significant advancement in connected car commerce, offering manufacturers new revenue streams while providing consumers with enhanced convenience. The platform is designed to support both customer acquisition and loyalty programs through a single integration point.
